The Carmona bonsai is a tropical evergreen tree that can live outdoors during the warm months if you are in a Mediterranean climate. In winter it should be protected from the cold, preferably indoors in a place with good indirect light. Watering should be frequent and plentiful in summer, almost daily, and more moderate in winter, every 3 to 4 days. It is recommended to repot it every 2 to 3 years to renew the substrate and encourage healthy growth. Both pruning and pinching can be done throughout the year, cutting new shoots back to two leaves. Ideal for creating decorative hedges thanks to its ability to regrow vigorously in spring.
